A SUICIDE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). DUNEDIN, Oct. 17. Charles Lewis Fleming, 65, married, livng at South Dunedin, was found dead this morning with a bullet wound in his right temple and a pearifle alongside.
FORESTRY DELEGATES
ROTORUA, Oct. 17
The British Empire Forestry delegates arrived at Rotorua last night, after an exhaustive examination of Waiotapu and Kaingaroa plantations. The keenest interest ,was taken in the forests, and their growth excited the admiration of the visitors, who in the evening were accorded a civic reception and the Maoris gave an entertainment in their honour.,
P. Z. Caverhill, speaking on the occasion, said that New Zealand could give points to other countries on . the varieties of trees planted, and their growth. All the delegates were greatly impressed. To-day they visit nurseries and other sights in the vicinity.
