THE ZEPPELIN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received .this day at 9. ,a.m.)_ LONDON, October 11. A Berlin correspondent says it is estimated the Zeppelin flight to America will occupy 130 hours. Count Brandestein, the .late Count Zeppelin’s son-in-law, also will be a passenger. Six press representatives and two cinema , operators are included in the complement.
THE JOURNEY COMMENCED. FRIEDRICHSHAVEN, Oct. 11. The .Zeppelin circled over the hangar and dropped flowers/ a band playing “-Deutschland Tiber Alles.” It then sped off at fifty miles hourly. It passed Bale at 9.30. Ackener plans to reach New York on Sunday morning. He already has been advised of heavy storms in the Atlantic and if necessary will head Jfor the African coast, then the Azores and dodge the storms. LONDON. October 11. The Zeppelin left Fredrichshaven at •7.52 this morning for America.. Sixty per sons, are aboard, whereof twenty are -passengers, including Senor Lira, representing the Spanish Government, and Commander Rosendahl, who commanded the American airship Los Angeles, •Herr' Grzesinski, Prussian Minister of the Jnterior, and three experts of the Ministry of Transport. The weatlier was calm and the route is being fixed in accordance with wireless weather reports received en route. The first report-will be made from Bale, Switzerland. FRIEDRICHSHAVEN, Oct. 11. •The /Zeppelin’s passengers were injured at a premium of 6i per cent. The airship itself at 9 per cent. The ■passengers include a British journalist and Lady Drummond Hay.
