OAMARU, Oct. 10. A six-roomed residence at Livingstone, owned by Mr .T. MacKenzie, wap completely destroyed by fir© yesterday. Fanned by a gale, tile building was quickly engulfed in flames. The outbreak wins caused by the wind staying in a kitchen window and the strong gusts blowing the fire from the range. Nothing was saved. The h©”se was insured, but the furniture was not covered.
