A JUG LiTST. - WELLINGTON, Oct. 9. Last year 820 properties were offered for sale by Supreme Court Registrars, at the request of mortgagees, thy largest number being in the Auckland district, where 291 properties were offered and 211 were actually sold. Only 24 were offered in Wellington, and -all were sold. There were 62 properties offered in Christehimh and 58 sold. Ail the thirteen properties offered in Dunedin found buyers. At Gisborne properties put up for auction mmibored 39, thirty of which were sold. There were 20 sales at Invercargill, where 37 places were offered, and 12 of the 20 auctioned at Blenheim found buyers. Thirteen worn offered sold at Mustorton, and 39 of 42 put up at Now pjvmo"th were purchased. The amount of mortgages over Auckland properties sold totalled £265,891, Wellington £26.631. Christchurch £256 352, Dunedin £13,744. Gisborne £110,347, Invercargill £58.627, Bbn]ioiin £27,276. Masterton £32,270 and New Plymouth £71,955. Hamilton, with 103 properties ofl'er■ed and 39 sold, was next to Auckland at the head of the list. Throughout New Zealand the pronerties which changed hands wore subjoet to mortgages totalling £1,388.449, and the total price paid was £1.330,381. so that the total difference was onlv £52,115. ______
