DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. FIRST DAY. (15y Telegraph—Press Association). DUNEDIN, Oct, 11. There is fine weather for the first day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s Spring Mooting. The track is in excellent order a.nd attendance good. Results: Hurdles: —(1) Diana’s. Lad (Shaw) I, (2) Car i nth i a 2, (3) Red Heather 3. Scr: Antrim Boy, Amorist. Won by four lengths. Time 3.10 1-s', a track record. Mauiigatua Handicap:—(4) Phastar (Powell) 1, (5) First Raid 2, (0) Amourette 3. Scr: Royal Flower. Won by half a length. Time 1.29 3-5. Trial Handicap: —(2) Pound Note (L. J. Ellis) 1. (1) Sitarshooter 2, (4) Waving Corn 3. Scr: Amourette. Won by two lengths. Time 1:16. Wine Tray was fourth, coupled with winner.
