Exchanging his chaps, sombrero and spurs for he uniform of a policeman, Tom Tyler rides, fights and loves in his own inimitable way in “The Cowboy Coup,’’ his first offering that has the city and not a western ranch as its background. Tom is again accompanied by his two little pals, Frankie Darro and his clog, “Bitting Bull,” who help him capture the crooks and win the girl of his heart. The story, written by Frank Richardson Pierce and adapted for F. B. O. by F. A. E. Pine, has a splendnlly capa.de cast headed by the charming Jean Arthur, who makes her role of Virginia Selby, the heiress whose heart is won by a,n ex-cowhov, one of intense sympathy and loveliness. The second big attraction introduces Florence Vidor in “Tom Never Knew Women.” Peep behind the footlights of the theatre and follow the whims of the beautiful leading lady playing the love of her partner against the fickleness of man about town. The man "ho loved her,' she did not want, and when he disappeared she knew she loved him and wanted him. Florence Vidor, orchid lady of the screen, is the star; Lowell Sherman, sauvie villain of the screen, and Clive Brook, popular matinee idol, are the players in the cast. In addition you will see a complete vaudeville bill by a Russian troupe of artistes. Tlie Serial and a Comedy will complete the disj lay on Friday.
