Fields, Vice-President in charge of factory sales reports as follows “ Our judgment that the Plymouth is bound to revoluiioni.se the American people's ideas of h w fine a low priced c ;r can be built, is findir g rapid confirmatu n every where. It is-q : ite literi -ly—a sensation the litre of which I have never witnessed in all my experience in the automobile industry. It’s i rge size, its co ifort, its luxuriousness in appearance and performance, have created instantaneously ti e finest reception yet accorded a quality-built car. ‘ Not Only the Plymouth butalso the Chrysler models “65” and “72” c eated a record number of sales in every state in the Union. Numberless Chrysler owners bought without even a demonstratioa -the greatest tribute of confidence that can possibly be accorded anything.” In cit es and villages the Plymouth exhibits were thronged. Figures lor the principal cities are truly start ing. New York turned out 109,010 st ong in five days, and placed more than 1.500 orders— i_wo million dollars wor h of cars. In four days Chicago added 443 orders and drew 32,000 people, three quarters of a mill.on dollars. Deti oit, home of the motor car industry, sent 42,000 to the display and bought another three quarters of a million dollars worth of Chryslers. Philadelphia’s exhibit visitors totalled 51,809 and 309 cars were sold. So great was the throng that extra police were requisitioned. Staid Bostonians came to the display in such numbers that count was lost. Never was Boston so enthusiastic over any motor car. Baltimore reported 339 sales from an attendance of over 3,000. Cleveland’s attendance in < ne day was 10,030, and sales 125. Portland, Oregon, 16,000 and sold nearly 100,000 dollars worth in one day. Pittsburgh reported 215 sales in three days, and San Francisco 210. Similar reports of unrivalled enthu iasm came from nearly a thousand ether cities, towns and villages. I s introduction—every where—was amazing. COUPON. urcti. To the Todd Motor Co. I mim interested in the new CHRYSLER-' PLYMOUTH and CHRYSLER models. Ple.s end me FREE me iiteraturo >ou ar issu : nff.
