INQUEST VERDICT. (By Telegraph—Per Prea* Association. PALMERSTON N., Sept. 26. . At the inquest this morning, concerning the death /of Gordon James Thurston, in the hospital, as a result of a motor cycle accident on Kitn'bolton Road, Feildxng, on the night of September 18th, the Coroner returned a verdict of accidental death. The evidence disclosed that deceased, with a companion, was pillion riding on a motor cycle at eleven at night, when he struck a bicycle ridden by a sister of the pillion rider. The Coroner commented that it was quite clear it was an accident. Probably there was insufficient light on the motor cycle, which combined with ‘ the late hour of the night, contributed to the mishap. MOTOR CAR FATALITY. PALMERSTON N„ Sept. 26. A married man, Colin Sellors, of Levin, died in the hospital this morning as the result of serious injuries sustained in a motor accident on Sunday afternoon. The ear somersaulted over a hank on Turakina Hill. J. Moore, his companion, escaped injury.
