Eight years ago, Airs Annie Crotch, a Yorkshire woman, liad a serious operation in London and went to Riviera, where she continually suffered from internal pains, which were believed to be due to cancer, until her collapse led to an X-ray examination, when a large pair of forceps were found in her stomach, where they had been since 1920.

A third operation was performed and the forceps were removed.
