A gift of £IO,OOO for the reduction of the National Debt has been sent to the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mi Winston Churchill.) by Mr Oswald DcOell as “a mark of gratitude to tho.se who voluntarily gave, or risked their lives for the Empire. The Chancellor has expressed the Government’s appreciatiin of the patriotism inspiring tho generous gift.
