The afternoon- will he spent in a ride round the city, during which it is hoped ,to make a visit to the soldier 'inmates at Montecillo. In the evening t)ie visitors will lie the guests of the Citizens’ Committee at a social in the Tutor Hall.
DUNEDIN VISIT DOUBTFUL. ■ OWING TO BAD WEATHER. BLENHEIM, Sept, 24. In view Of the very bad weather forecast issued to-night by the Goernment Meteorologist, Kingsford Smith and party are afraid that, unless the indications in the morning are favourable;-they will be 'running a grave risk of being so delayed by storms' in tile south as to upset their entire schedule for the, Rlenheim-Syd-ney fliglit. Accordingly' it. may be_necessary tomorrow regretfully, to cancel all the southern engagements. However, the fliers will be guided by the indications in the morning, and they will continue their tour if it is at all possible without running the risk of upsetting their arrangements' for the return to Sydney.
