“ We am deeply grateful to you lor kind welcome to visit Westland and wo are extremely sensitive to tlio sentiments conveyed. Wc have been already informed by many good friends since we arrived in New Zealand of the paitieular beauties and potentialities of the West Coast of the South Island of this Dominion, but wc very much regret it is quite impossible to accept so cordial an invitation.
