1928 REVEILLE. OPENS TO-NIGHT. Tlio much talked about Spectacular Extravaganza opens at the. Princess Theatre to-night and there will he a clmngo of programme for the two following nights. The Matinee commences at 3 p.m. on Thursday. Mr Lints, the producer, was delighted with, the fulldress rehearsal which was held last night and promises a city production. A feature of the .production will he the lighting effects which is in the hands of Mr Gifford and staff. The programme for to-night is most varied, introducing as it will Dazzling Electrical Marches, Catchy Songs, Choruses, Bewitching Ballets, Human Statuary, Acrobatic Dancing, Clover Comedy Numbers, Local Hits, Revolving Electrical Effects. In short 25 separate and distinct numbers will he presented. The Reveille is a Spectacular Extravaganza, not a Revue. There is no plot, no padding, no waste time—-just ono brilliant scene after the other in amazing rapidity. More than 130 performers will appear to-night and more than 500 different costumes will be worn. 'Hie box plan is now open at Miss Mclntosh's, and patrons are well advised to book early. A queue will be formed for the cheaper seats. Mr Lints has produced the Reveille -15 times in N.Z. alone, staged 324 performances in which more than 13,000 performers have taken part.
