Forwards—H. L. Stephenson, 0. .Taggers, J. Kirkland, T. Rountree, A. Rogers, AY. Miller, J. Manihern, AY. Boddington. THE COAST TEAM. The following team has been selected to represent the A Vest Coast against Canterbury B. on Cass Square next Saturday. Full-bank—J. King. Three-quarters— Pfahlert, Fong, Tain ui. Five-eighths—Jenkins, Houston. Half—McCleary. AVing forward—Hagur. Forwards—Patterson, Pfahlert, A. King, Bannister, Mclntosh, Dougherty, Robinson. Emerg: Forwards—Caul ton and Ferguson; backs—Nightingale and Bunt. NEAV ZEALAND TEST TEAM. AVELLINGTON, Sept. 3. Criticism is being offered at the placing of the field against the New South AA’ales team. The New Zealand team is without training or combination, many of them being strangers to one another.
In reply, Mr Dean (chairman of the Rugby Union) says a number of the players engaged in Wednesday’s match it is impossible to assemble before today after which they would he 'together till the last test. Mr Dean was appointed manager.
