The report of the special committee on Church of England Empowering Bill was adopted and tho Bill put through the final stages and passed. 'THE HOUSE. In the House of Representatives tho Prime Minister initiated the debate on tlie recent National Industrial Conference, which had not concluded at 5.30 o’clock.

At the evening sitting the House went into Committee of Supply to reconsider the Estimates, when the following votes were passed: —Justice Department £131,014; Prisons’ Department, £95,609; Grown Law Office, £5,812; Lands and 'Survey Department £602,295; Scenery Preservation £15,550; Valuation Department £54,713; MenE\l Hospitals £290,868; Public Health, £240,77?. At j. 1,50 p.m. the House rose till 2.30 on Tuesday.
