OHART/TON IN SWEDEN. Australian Press Assn.—United Service LONDON, Aug. 20. At Malian in tho 400 metres free stylo swim, Charlton (Australia) defeated a local realy team of four men in 237 3-10 secs. The Swedes took 337 3-10 secs. The hundred metres backstroke resulted in a win for the Swedish champion, Eskil Lundahl (76 2-10 secs), Charlton taking 78 6-40 secs.

A team race over 233 metres was won by Boast, Charlton and Hay, in 1.75 9-10 secs, from Lillqnist, Lundahl and Mamisson, who took 156 2-10 secs.
