R OUND-TH E-WOR LD RUSH. NEW YORK, July 24. The globe has been encircled in just 23 days 15hr. Ssee., once again putting into the shade the 80-days record of Jules Verne’s famous hero. The victory was won yesterday by -Mr John Henry Mcars, the writer, and I.is pilot. Captain Charles Collyer.

The two men carried a Senlylinm terrier, "Tailwind,” to whose presence they attributed the good luck of their new record.
