An enormous crowd of people lined the route from the wharf to Sail t Mary’s Cathedral in order <o welcome the Papal Delegation to the Kiichari? tic Congress. There was a brilliant spectacle when the dignitaries, ‘rom all corr.iries. a blaze of colour, walked to one hundred motor cars, and were driven slowly through the streets of the city, lined with Catholic school ihildren who were waving the Aiistr. This service was a most impressive one front beginning to end, every member of the Australian Hierarchy and many from overseas, being present.
