Australian Press Assn. —United Service A MURDER, CHARGE. (Received this day at 1.5 p.rn.i LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30. Two grotesque life sized reproductions of the body of Myrtle Melius, whom the police believe, was murdered by a butcher ’boy friend, Lor Kelly, were displayed in Court, whore Kelly is now on trial for murder. The court room was filled with women. There were ninety-four abrasions on the body, most of them, the police believe caused by bites from her degenerate sweetheart. Frank Melius testified that he never knew of his wife’s clandestine affair with the family butcher. The District Attorney submitted that three love letters from Kelly, to Mrs Mol lus indicated the latter’s love was growing cold. The police theory is that thts provided the motive, for the killing.
