BEATEN SENSELESS. BUDAPEST, July 10. Four bodily and mentally wrecked conscripts of Yugo-Slav Hussar regiment, natives of the former Hungarian district of Baraka, have just deserted across the frontier into Hutiagrv after 18 months of military persecution. Their namse are Bora, Tatar, Markovid and Kiraly.j Kjraly .states for the “c-rinie” of reading Hungarian licks and speaking Hungarian they were Hound to trees until they fainted owing to prolonged exposure. Severe corporal punishment was administered to them regularly. When beaten senseless, not only did they not receive medical treatment, hut they were also ignored by the Serb soldiers. Their wounds had no chance of healing owing to the frequency of their punishment-.
