PARLIAMENT
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, Aug. 29. In the House of Representatives the afternoon sitting was spent in discussing departmental reports. The Prime Minister laid on the table the report of the recent National Industrial Conference at Wellington and announced it was intended to summon another Conference to further discuss New Zealand’s attitude towards arbitration law. Post and Telegraph Bill, and Briti h Nationality and Status of Aliens (in N.Z.) Bill, were read a second time, the latter after a division and discussion by 38—15. The House rose at 1.52 a.m. till 2.30 p.m.
