The weekly meeting of the AYestlnnd Sub-Union was held last evening. Piesent: Messrs Coulson (oliair). Dowell, AldGregor, AidAfanaway, Alcove, J. Coulson, Cooper, AfcDonald, Stafford and AVilliams. Inward correspondence was read and received and outward approved. Referees reports re Saturday s matches were received. It, was resolved that the Kiwi v. Excelsior match lor the howler Cup he played on Saturday. Sept. Bth., subject to date not clashing with visit of Canterbury reps.
It was resolved to ask all junior rep players who had not returned their jerseys to leave same with Air AfcGregor as soon as possible. Resolved that the AY.C.R.U he asked to use their best endeavours to arrange for suitable train to leave from Hokitika, for the test match at Christchurch.' X.S.AY. v. N.Z., there being every prospect of it being well patronised from this end,
