WESTLAND COMPETITIONS
PRINCESS THEATRE. TO-NIGHT. The Second Demonstration Concert under the auspices of the Westland Competitions Society takes place at the Princess Theatre to-night, commencing at 7.-to o’clock. There is a very lengthy programme, and encores will not .to possible. The public interest in the event is in no way abated, and here is every prospect of another large attendance. The hooking has been very good, the patrons including a considerable country contingent.
The programme to-night is a well diversified one and there will he no lack of entertainment for all. Several special items are to lie .presented including the anthem and hymn which were the choir test. The pincettes are both outstanding in their interest and entertainment. The musical and elocutionary numbers are all very choice and complete an unusually attractive programme. The concert should lie a worthy wind-up to a very successful festival, creditable to all concerned.
