(Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY AIRMAN’S CRASH. SYDNEY, August 25. Frederick Rowe, 38, testing an aeroplane over St. Peter’s suburb, when his W.H. 5 machine developed a tail spin towards the earth from over 200 feet. He succeeded in flattening the machine out only thirty feet from the earth, when it crashed heavily and was completely wrecked. He escaped with a black eye and lacerations. Rowe exclaimed to . a spectatorhelper: “1 am the luckiest man in the world,” and lit a cigarette. He is now in the hospital.

SYDNEY MURDERS. SYDNEY, August 26. A young man has been arrested at Kognrah, Sydney, in connection with impositions upon various people, whereby. it is alleged, lie obtained moneys. It is now believed this man will be able to throw light on the murder of Mrs Falvcy and her sister. -Miss Esthei Vaughan at Marrickvillc on June 20th. The police are reticent, hut the man is being held pending further investigations.

MURDER SUSPECT. SYDNEY, August 27. The man arrested on suspicion of the Marrickville murder is John Patrick Reynold, aged 18. He was formally charged this morning with the murder of Mrs Facvny and Miss Vaughan and remanded. The police state the description tallies with that furnished by persons who saw a man leave tho women’s shop alter tho shots were fired, but they'place reliance on finger-prints.
