OPOSSUM SKINS
Messrs Wriglit, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., Dunedin, report having offered a large catalogue at last Friday’s sale. There was a very full attendance of buyers and competition was animated for all descriptions of skins prices all over showing a distinct advance on last month’s sale. Several buyers evidently had some large orders to fill and competed keenly to get their supplies. The following were actual ruling rates--Extra super blues to 23s 9d; super blues 19s to 2-ls;'first blues 18s to 20s; second blues 13s to Ills; small blue l 7s to 9s Od ; extra super greys to- 20s 7d; super greys 17s 9d to 18s 3d; first greys los to 17s lOd ; second greys 12s to 14s, small greys 8s to 10s; extra super hlac-ks to 235; super blacks 16s 9d to 19s 6d: first black? 13s 6d to los 3d; second blacks 11s to 12s 8d; small blacks 6s to 7s 6d; first browns 9s 6d to 10s 9d : second browns 8s 6d to 9s 9d; first reds 8s Gd to 9-s 3d; second reds 8s to 8s 6d ; third reds 6s to 7s 6d.
