SIGNING NEXT MONDAY. (United Press Association.—Bv Electric Telegraph.—Copyright 1 PARIS, August 18. It is announced from Berlin that Dr Stresemann (Foreign Atinister) definitely has accepted the invitation to sign the pact. Air Kellogg arrives on August 24, and the signature will be on August 27. In connection with tlio signing, three receptions, have been arranged—one at Ramhouillet, where the President of France will receive the Foreign A 1 misters, anotlie.r given by Premier Poincare, and a third by At. Jiriand.
Surprise has been caused by the unexpected summoning of the Cabinet on August 23, ostensibly to finally approve of the details of the pact ceremony, but it is persistently reported Al. Poincare desires an agreement on tlie attitude to the Rhineland evacuation in the inter-AUied debate in case that issue is raised informally while the world Alinisters are assembled. It is also suggested Air Kellogg will possibly raise the question of the AngloFrench naval agreement. It is noted that, although it is stressed from New York that Air Kellogg does not intend formally to discuss international questions, nothing has been said about informal discussions.
President Cosgrave is coming to meet Air Kellogg, and they will return together to Dublin.
