PARLIAMENT
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, August 15. In the House cf Representatives a number of largely signed petitions were received praying for relief in the matter of taxation on motor vehicles. The debate on the Budget was resumed by Messrs Hamilton (Awarua), Parry, Buddo, Elliott and McCombs. The adjournment of the debate was moved by Sir John Luke and the House rose at midnight till 2.30 p.m.
