The manager of the Springbok team lias raised a doubt alxmt the legality of the New Zealand loose bead forward in the scrum. He has decided to place the rules before the South African Rugby Board and to ask for a ruling. The New Zealanders are confident that no objection can be made to playing a loose bead in the front row as was done in the second tost. They propose to pack the same scrum again, as it worked effectively at Johannesburg. They arc expecting some sort of a countermove from the Springboks. V. 11. Neser, who refereed the two first tests, lias been chosen for the third test.
