Somewhere in Blenheim a miserable sinner is chuckling over an ill-gotten ten shillings (says the “Express”). On a recent Saturday he cut a 10s note in halves and neatly folded up each half, with the figures “10” showing. One half secured him admission to the Rugby match, and a certain amount of change, and apparently his conscience was not stirred by the fact that it was a charity match which he had selected for the scene of his fraud. The other half of the note was passed off three days later on a Blenheim butcher. The butcher and the Rugby Union havw oined forces, and, by placing the two halves of the note together, got os each out of it.
