SIX-A-SIDE TOURNEY. Ideal weather favoured the six-a-side hockey tournament held at Victoria Park yesterday afternoon in the presence of a numerous gathering of spectators. The standard of play was good, especially on the part of the A teams from the Afawhera, United, Hokitika, and lUmanga Clubs. FIRST ROUND. Gordon) by two goals to one. Hokitika A (AL Sumner, AF. Lynch, N. Olsen. R. and 0. Stapleton. J. AValker) bent Afawhera B (T. Griften, AL Little. A. MeKnight, L. Alexander, C. Hannam and M. SEAII-FINAL. Mawhera A beat United A by 1 goal to nil. f Hokitika a bye. FINAL. Afawhera A heat Hokitika A by one goal to nil. Aliss N. McGrath scored less than a minute after the start. Hokitika attacked in the second half, a shot from just outside the edge- of the circle, went into the goal. Mawheras then took play to the other end and were attacking at fh£ final hell.
