Longbeach Hurdles.—(l) Peneus 1, (2) Brigadier Bill 2, (4) Nine of Spades 3. Won by four lengths; two lengths Time 3.5. Maiden Stakes.—(2) Saflina 1, (1) Hurly Burly 2, (5) Meriyale 3. Won by a length; a length. Time 1.1 4-5. Homeby Steeplechase.—(l) Pastin’ Through 1, (2) Dubious 2, (4) Mainspring 3. Won easily; a length. Time 5.34. Brabnzon Handicap.—(3) Royal Saxon 1, (1) First Sight 2, (7) Taboo 3. Won by a head; one length. Time 1.31. Hunters’ Plate.—(2) Page Boy 1, (1) Locarno 2, (3) Whiffler 3.
