SUDDEN DEATH. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 3. The death occurred suddenly this afternoon of Mr H. C. Guinness ActDistrict Traffic Manager of the New-."'Zealand Railways. He was on duty as usual, when he suddenly had a heart seizure at two o’clock. He was removed to his home, but he died two hours’ later. Only last week Mr Guinness was appointed Assistant Superintendent in the North Island Railway Division, and he was to take up the new position shortly. He was 48 years of age.
