At the Supreme Court, before Justice Adams, Bernard Lewis Blackwell was found guilty of having, at Otaio, on May 11th, been found by night without lawful excuse on the premises of William Alfred Ancell, the case being a sequel to the shooting case. He was placed on probation for twelve months, special conditions being that he should pay the costs of the prosecution, reports to the probation officer monthly regarding income and expenditure, makes properprovision for his wife’s maintenance, takes out a prohibition order, keeps away from his wife’s relatives and pays the damage to Barr’s house. WELLINGTON, August 3. Ronald Vincent Delaney, aged 19, was sentenced to three years Borstal by Judge Sim, on a charge of indecent assault. James Douglas Adams, a bank manager was sentenced to.:three years 10formative, for breach of Bankruptcy Act He pleaded guilty and saul lio brought about his bankruptcy by gambling, drunkenness, and unjustifiable extravagant living.
