OLYMPIC GAMES

“ TIMES ” PRAISES LOWE. | [_“ The Times ” Service.] ' i:LONDON, July. 31. Lowe’s victory in the 800 . metres is generally conceded to be a fitting climax for one of the greatest runners England ever produced. Incidentally by- winning at the Olympic games the event for the second time in succession, he has achieved what no other athlete in the world has yet done. Lowe’s style and stride were perfect, and he ran a flawless race, never being rattled.
