PARLIAMENT
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, August 1. The House met at 2.130 p.m. yesterday. The Registration of Opticians, Inspection of Machinery, and Noxious Weeds Bills were introduced bv Governor’s message. Mr E. J. Howard gave notice of intention to introduce the Licensing Bill and Air H. E. Holland (Bullor) gave notice of intention to introduce the Education Act Amendment Bill. The .Municipal Corporation Amendment Hill was read a second time and referred to a Select Committee. The House rose at 12.30 a.m. till 2.30 to-day.
