EV ERYBODYS PICTURES. “ IT ” —TO-NIGHT. Hollywood’s champion memory expert lias been discovered. He is Clarence Badger, the man who directed "It,” Clara. Bow’s first Paramount starring vehicle, which reaches the Princess Theatre to-night. -Madame Elinor Glyn, author of the story, who spent much time on the set, observed Badger proceeding from one scene to another without consulting a scenario. She was astonished, and inquired as to his methods. It was then revealed that her screen adaptation from the original story of “ft” had not'only been studied thoroughly by Badger before starting the photoplay, but he had also memorized the scenes of each sequence. Not only did lie carry out fifty-two scenes in a letter perfect manner one day without reference to a scenario, but he furnished Clara Bow, Antonio Moreno, ‘William Austin, and others of the supporting cast with dialogue intended to aid them in enacting the action. Badger consults the scenario at night and before starting work each morning, refreshing his memory as to the work to .be done. The usual good supports will also be shown, including a topical and comedy.,l On Friday next, Hoot Gibson appears in a big Western “Painted Ponies.”
