FLOOD DAAIAQE. AUCKLAND, July 30. Heavy rainfall over the week-end renewed apprehension of damage hy floods in the country. Landslides between Swanson and Rewiti blocked trains on the Kaipnra line on Sunday, at Kumeti and AVnimauku. There is an extensive slip on tiie Taupaki road on the AVnitakere Tunnel bill. It is hoped to have all obstructions removed to-day. The rainfall yesterday cheeked tho fall of tho liver at Alerc-er, which is still six feet to seven feet above normal level, with a little water about the railways tracks.
