GISBORNE RESULTS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, July 28. The annual steeplechase meeting of the Gisborne Racing Club was brought to a conclusion this afternoon. The weather was fine and the track in good order. The totalisator handled £15,062, compared with £12,113 on the second day of last year, an increase of £2,049. The total for the meeting was £26,701, against £21,079 last year, an increase of £5,352. Results : Gisborne Hurdles.—(2) Ballyfarnon 1, (7) Chrisna 2, (3) Merle 3.
