At the Air Ministry’s request, Sir Allan Cobham is preparing an estimate of the cost of running an air service to Kenya, and also “later an extension to Buluwayo where it will link up” with a service from the Cape. The " East African dependencies, with the concurrence of the Colonial Office, is prepared to support the project if the British Government offers a subsidy. In the early stages of the operation of the present project it is proposed to have a weekly service by three-engined flying boats for passengers, mails and goods.
