Araliura v Excelsiors. The W T cst Coast team which went to Nelson yesterday, play the Nelson representatives to-morrow afternoon for the Seddon Shield. The Coast team is a fairly sound one, and lies had several gamer together. The pack is heavy and fast, while the backs have the ability to make the game open. The team is confident of being able to uphold the reputation of the Coast so that a good oven game should result. Oil Cass Square two interesting games are set down for 3 p.m. Tn one the junior representatives of the Grey and 'Westland districts clash, and though there is hardly likely to be a great deal of combination among the olnycrs generally, the <on test should prove an interesting one. The second game is the annual contest between the two school teams of Hokitika and Groymouth for the Newman Shield. These school toys’ games are always interesting, and if the weights of the two sets of players arc not of too great a difference, the game should prove very attractive, as the school teams generally try to make the play as open as possible. Onlookers should bo rewarded with a good exhibition.
