On Class Square yesterday afternoon Hokitika Ladies Club defeated Gobdeu by four goals to one. At Greymouth Mawhera defeated Runanga by G goals to nil, and United A. and B. teams played a draw, m score. The win of Mawhera gives them the Milligan Cup, the following being the positions of the Clubs: ■ Points
DANNEVIRKE, July 25
Dannevirke men’s hockey reps, by drawing to-day with Taranaki in a match for the Norclen Cup maintained their • unbeaten, record in their fourth challenge, match this season having alro defeated the Wairoa and Wnirarapa challenge for the cup, and drawn with Wanganui for the Winter Shield held by Dannevirke. To-day's contest, on a good ground, was fast and exciting, each side scoring a goal in the presence of a big crowd.
