Air P. Koregast’s Comedy Boy; a pup only seven months old, that has run 120 yards in 7 1-lOtli seconds and Air A. Dowell’s Quiniet, so Tar unbeaten on the West Coast, are coinepting at the Canterbury Whippet meeting at Christchurch on August 16th. Both dogs are in training and the owners are hopeful of success.
I was at Greynioutli on Saturday, B(ll, and do you know it is a. hard job to get a car for Wednesday night. All are engaged to bring the mei:«liers of the hot-key clubs to Hokitika.. Tho old Inirg will sure bo some night that flight and the lads flattered seeing they are going to have Leap Year dances at the hall.—Advt.
