DUNEDIN, July 23,

Air J. Afc C. Dickson, who lias represented Chalmers since 1914, has intimated that he will not seek re-elec-tion at the forthcoming General Election.

At tne request of a number of electors in various parts of the Chalmers electorate, Air A. E. Anscll has consented to offer himself as a candidate for this seat in the Reform interests at the forthcoming General Election. DUNEDIN, July 24.

With Air Dickson’s retirement three candidates will probably contest Port Chalmerts seat, namely A. E. Ansel! (Reform), J. Loudon (United), and X. H. Campbell (Labour).
