The House met at 2.30 p.m. » ■ After the transaction of formal business the debate on the Mental Defectives Bill was resumed and continued till 5.30. As the Minister of Health had to leave for the north, it was at 7.30 p.m. adjourned till Tuesday. The Orchard and Garden Pests Bill which is a consolidating measure was put through Committee and read a third time and passed, without amendment. The Surveyors Institute Amendment Bill, Surveyors Registration Bill, Statutory'Land Charges Registration Bill, and Magistrate’s Court Bill were read a second time and the House rose at 9.45 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
