Sir,—Did 1 understand the President of tlie Westland Sub-Union to state on Wednesday last that the SubUnion does not countenance Sunday football? If so, how is it that a game is set dfhvn to be played at Reefton on Sunday between Innngahua and the West Coast team, of which I noticed a claim was made to ten players tbe other day. Is the answer a logical one? I hope so.—l am, etc., ENQUIRER.
