HEAVY MII.fcKllS. LONDON, May 30. Two instances of heavy milking—a Dexter cow and a goat—have aroused great interest at the agricultural iThows this year. They demonstrate strikingly how highly some of the smaller forms of stuck ate being developed. . The Dexter, a IG-years-olcl cow named Bridesmaid, owned by Mr H. I'. Bari of Shaftesbury Dorset, gave the heavy yield of 421 b of milk in a day at the Bath and West Show. The goat, named Didgemere Dogrose, belongs to ills Arthur Abbey of Didgemere Hall, Essex, and at t lie Esse:': Show established a new record by giving 191)> of mill: in 24 hours. The previous, record was 181 b 7oz given h.v Didgemere Dream at the Royal' Norfolk Show in .1920. This new record is particularly welcome to Mrs Abbey, who sustained a great loss early in March when 12 ol the finest adult female goats in her herd, including Didgemere Dream, were mysteriously poisoned,
