N.S.W. MINING RETURNS. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 11. The Annual Report 1 ® of the New South Wales Department of Mines discloses the coal output for 1927 was 11,125,114 tons, valued at the pit mouth at £9,782,002. Compared with previous year’s tonnage was only exceeded twice, while the value was the highest over recorded. The gold yield showed a decrease in value of £5,906. SUVA TOURNAMENT. SUVA, July 10. K.G., formerly At-torney-General, lias been adjudged guilty by the Full Court of contempt of Court in consequence of aspersions made in election speeches recently against Justice Crisp. Ogilvie expressed deep regret and lie was ordered to pay costs of the attachment order.
