The industrial rabbit industry is at last on the list of livelihoods in New Zealand. It was reported at a meeting of the Auckland branch of the ‘'Smallholder” Industrial Babbit Club this week that the Government had decided to permit the keeping of the improved British strains of wool and Cur rabbits, subject to reasonable conditions, including penalties for letting tlio rabbits esc a pc. A resolution was passed thanking the Government for sympathetic treatment of the question and promising to conduct the industry in a way that will cause the authorities no anxiety.
