The bowling carnival was opened by the Governor this afternoon. The rinks results are as follows:
Miller (New Zealand) beat A 100 re (3.A.); Speer (Victoria) beat Dobell (Suva); Perks (Suva) beat Nortliam (N.S.W.); Caughley (Suva) bent Baxter (Victoria) ; Bennett (Victoria) beat Johnson (Suva). The carnival is resuming on Afonday.
