Air A. Cut bush has been appointed referee for the Westland-Grey match to-morrow. A very fine number of opossum skins are now coining to hand lor stamping, indicating that the season promises to 1, 2 at least a good average one. Dr Duncan Afurdocli of the staff of the Auckland Hospital, is home on a short vacation visit to his parents, Air and Airs ,T. A. Alurdoch. Dr Murdoch, prior to leaving the hospitaj on leave, was presented by the inmates of the children’s ward with a. set of gold studs, as a special mark of favour and appreciation from the juvenile patients.
